From image creation to visual direction
Google’s 26 February 2026 announcement describes Nano Banana 2 in terms of fast generation and editing, subject consistency and instruction following. We use that announcement as a starting point for a production guide, rather than presenting it as a new release today or a comparative test.
The 9 AI STUDIO perspective
Product photography needs creativity and accuracy together. A perfume bottle’s surroundings can change while its proportions, cap and label remain reliable. Start with a trustworthy product reference, then vary lighting and setting in controlled steps.
A campaign might explore a clean studio scene, natural materials and a more experimental world. Shared colour and lighting rules can connect these options. Generated labels and text need separate checking; real packaging may need to be retained during post-production. AI should expand the brand’s storytelling space without redefining the actual product.
