The announced approach
ByteDance Seedâs announcement dated 31 July 2026 highlights unified audio-video generation, flexible references and editing. It describes generation up to 30 seconds and multi-round extensions. Access and limits should be checked in the application being used.
The 9 AI STUDIO perspective
A still can communicate lighting; another reference can demonstrate movement. It helps to state clearly which aspect each reference should control. Separating character, setting, action and sound makes the brief easier to evaluate.
Longer output does not automatically create a stronger story. Storyboards establish shot order, viewing directions and scene changes before generation. A few approved keyframes can define the visual language, followed by motion tests inside the intended edit. Review character continuity, product accuracy and the relationship between sound and picture before final delivery.
